Vinted Shoppers Voice Frustration Over Size Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage after an update resulted in items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has updated its size classifications for women's and children's garments but did not contact every member regarding the update.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms stating that platform listings now display a different size category than originally posted because of the remapping.
The platform stated the new system was more in line with other platforms.
The platform has recommended to review their products and manually change the size when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Updates
Earlier, the sizes had both a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
User Stories
Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, located in Scotland, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they may become frustrated," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
Another shopper, from Derby, stated she felt frustrated because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item".
"This situation is especially annoying, as I'm chronically ill and Vinted sales have been crucial following partial earnings loss," she stated.

The service features exceeding 100 million users, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion where an unanticipated change on the platform has faced criticism: previously, Vinted reversed a change to its shipping options due to shopper criticism.
