The young golfer will have plenty of well-known cheerleaders when she makes her LPGA debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to participate at the Annika tournament in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates several golf courses and frequently plays against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, unable to come, advised her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa essentially suggested to go out there and relax," she added.

"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, so he's rather occupied."

As an amateur, the golfer has competed in only three events recently and has ranking 461 in AJGA listings.

Yet she's able to receive tips from golf legend, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He stands as the top athlete in the world," Kai stated.

"And he's a superior individual. He told me to go out there, relax, adapting to whatever happens."

Kai will face several the biggest names in the sport at the Annika, featuring second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that her participation brings the sport to different demographics, specifically with younger fans.

The young star maintains a massive following and just introduced an exclusive fashion and living brand.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
