Grief as Beloved South African DJ Killed in the Heart of Johannesburg.

A popular South African radio and club DJ has been murdered in the nation's economic hub Johannesburg, triggering widespread grief across a country grappling with entrenched crime.

Warrick Stock, widely recognized as DJ Warras, was attacked in the central business district on the afternoon of Tuesday.

Authorities reported the forty-year-old media personality was approached by three individuals, with one opened fire on him before escaping on foot.

The purpose of the attack is unknown and no arrests have been made, police said.

Police said that Stock was attacked as he was exiting a location in the vicinity of the city center landmark.
