Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Due to Fracture in Windshield
A plane ferrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday after a crack was found in the jet's front window, according to an official announcement which verified that all passengers were secure.
"The jet landed following established safety measures and all individuals on the flight, such as Pete Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson said in a social media post.
He was traveling back from a quick journey to Brussels when the incident occurred.
This incident isn't the first time that a US military aircraft carrying a top government figure has encountered technical problems.
Earlier this year, a American military jet ferrying Marco Rubio to Munich was forced to turn back to the US capital after encountering a mechanical fault.
